DESCRIPTION

The W74.x METEORS series builds on a proven outline lamp platform, enhanced with a distinctive new light signature. A specially engineered internal lens creates a striking “falling meteor” effect, delivering a dynamic, modern appearance that sets this range apart from conventional designs.

Designed for installation beyond the vehicle’s outline, W74.x METEORS lamps improve spatial awareness and manoeuvrability. By clearly defining vehicle width in both daylight and low-light conditions, they contribute to increased on-road safety.

The range includes five body variants to suit a wide variety of applications:

Front/rear multifunction outline lamps: W74.1, W74.2, W74.2A, W74.4
Front, side and rear outline lamps, including multifunction side versions with integrated direction indicator: W74.3

Engineered for demanding commercial use, both the lens and flexible housing are resistant to mechanical damage and harsh environmental conditions. The series is also fully EMC tested, ensuring reliable performance and compatibility with modern vehicle electrical systems.

INSTALLATION & CARE

To preserve the quality of your lights, do not utilise a pressure washer on a high setting.

The use of harsh cleaning chemicals can detrimentally effect the appearance and life of the product. Use warm soapy water and a wash brush or clean sponge to thoroughly clean front and back and rising to remove all soap.

With today’s high-quality lighting offering excellent dust and water sealing, lamp failures are rare. One common cause is water tracking through unsealed electrical connections, causing the copper core to blacken. Using waterproof plugs and sockets (superseals or Deutsch connectors) and adhesive heat-shrink sleeving and terminals can prevent this issue.
