DESCRIPTION
Benefits of temperature-controlled LEDs
LUNAR work lights feature innovative thermal control, setting them apart from regular LEDs. These temperature-controlled LEDs are designed to regulate heat more efficiently, which prevents overheating and degradation over time. By maintaining a stable operating environment, these lights ensure consistent brightness and color output regardless of external temperature changes. This feature is especially useful for maintaining performance in diverse settings.
Performance in extreme environments
Thanks to their advanced thermal management, LUNAR work lights thrive in extreme temperature environments where standard LEDs often fall short. The reduced thermal stress contributes to a significantly longer operational life, providing reliability and durability over prolonged use. Whether facing freezing cold or blistering heat, LUNAR work lights deliver unmatched resilience and dependability, making them the ideal choice for challenging conditions.

INSTALLATION & CARE
INSTALLATION & CARE
With today’s high-quality lighting offering excellent dust and water sealing, lamp failures are rare. One common cause is water tracking through unsealed electrical connections, causing the copper core to blacken. Using waterproof plugs and sockets (superseals or Deutsch connectors) and adhesive heat-shrink sleeving and terminals can prevent this issue.

Condensation
A small amount of condensation inside a lamp can occur naturally due to changes in temperature and humidity and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
As lamps warm up during operation, moisture present in the air inside the unit may condense when it comes into contact with cooler surfaces such as the lens. Products fitted with breathers are designed to minimise this effect by allowing airflow and pressure equalisation.
To ensure correct operation, breathers should be kept clear and free from paint, dirt, mud, or other obstructions.
Paint & Surface Finish
Damage to painted or coated surfaces caused by environmental factors such as road salt, grit, sand, chemicals, oxidation, or debris is considered external damage and is not covered under warranty.
Regular cleaning and maintenance are recommended, particularly in harsh operating environments.
Installation & Mounting
Products should always be mounted securely and in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Installing lamps onto bull bars, push bars, light bars, or aftermarket mounting systems may increase vibration levels beyond normal operating conditions. Excessive vibration can lead to premature wear or failure of brackets and fixings, which is not covered under warranty.
Care must also be taken when tightening plastic mounting points or housings. Over-tightening can cause stress fractures or breakages and will be regarded as installation damage rather than a product defect.
