DESCRIPTION

The Low Profile R65 warning Beacon

The Low Profile R65 warning Beacon utilises powerful LEDs, arranged to produce a 360° flash pattern by combining the solid-state, maintenance free long-life nature of LED technology.

With additional features including multiple flash patterns, synchronisation and vigorous testing to the ECCO standard and OEM specifications. This high-performance range has improved EMC performance to CISPR 25 level 3, is robust and compact in a popular housing design and is available in four standard mounting options.

This range is designed to maximise resilience to excessive vibration, increasing the life of the product and is backed by our five-year no-hassle warranty. Beacons with Amber LEDs (Amber or Clear lens) produce a simulated rotate that is R65 Class 1 compliant.

SPECIFICATION

INSTALLATION & CARE

To preserve the quality of your lights, do not utilise a pressure washer on a high setting.

The use of harsh cleaning chemicals can detrimentally effect the appearance and life of the product. Use warm soapy water and a wash brush or clean sponge to thoroughly clean front and back and rising to remove all soap.

With today’s high-quality lighting offering excellent dust and water sealing, lamp failures are rare. One common cause is water tracking through unsealed electrical connections, causing the copper core to blacken. Using waterproof plugs and sockets (superseals or Deutsch connectors) and adhesive heat-shrink sleeving and terminals can prevent this issue.

Warranty Information

Product Warranty

At SRH Lighting, we pride ourselves on supplying quality products backed by reliable customer support. If you experience a fault with a product purchased from us, it may be covered under warranty subject to the conditions outlined below.

Unless otherwise stated, products are covered by a 24-month warranty period from the original invoice date.

For assistance with a warranty claim, please contact our team by phone or email. We will be happy to guide you through the process and advise on the next steps.

To help us process your claim efficiently, please provide:

  • Your invoice or proof of purchase
  • Product part number
  • Details of the fault
  • Supporting photographs where possible

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover faults or damage resulting from:

  • Accidental damage, impact, collision, storm damage, or other external influences
  • Incorrect installation, misuse, neglect, or improper operation
  • Unauthorised modifications or alterations to the product, including rewiring, repainting, or dismantling
  • Normal wear and tear or environmental deterioration

SRH Lighting reserves the right to inspect products before approving any warranty claim.

Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full warranty details.

Condensation

A small amount of condensation inside a lamp can occur naturally due to changes in temperature and humidity and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

As lamps warm up during operation, moisture present in the air inside the unit may condense when it comes into contact with cooler surfaces such as the lens. Products fitted with breathers are designed to minimise this effect by allowing airflow and pressure equalisation.

To ensure correct operation, breathers should be kept clear and free from paint, dirt, mud, or other obstructions.

Paint & Surface Finish

Damage to painted or coated surfaces caused by environmental factors such as road salt, grit, sand, chemicals, oxidation, or debris is considered external damage and is not covered under warranty.

Regular cleaning and maintenance are recommended, particularly in harsh operating environments.

Installation & Mounting

Products should always be mounted securely and in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Installing lamps onto bull bars, push bars, light bars, or aftermarket mounting systems may increase vibration levels beyond normal operating conditions. Excessive vibration can lead to premature wear or failure of brackets and fixings, which is not covered under warranty.

Care must also be taken when tightening plastic mounting points or housings. Over-tightening can cause stress fractures or breakages and will be regarded as installation damage rather than a product defect.
