Functions Stop Tail Flasher Reverse and Fog

W131& W147 is a modern 19 LED rear light unit which is characterised by its attractive design and low power consumption. Three types of lights: the indicator, position and stop, are concentrated in a single lamp in the shape of a honeycomb, harmoniously contained within a chrome ring with a diameter of 152mm. The lamp can work at 12V and 24V operating voltages, has an EMC approval and IP protection 66/68.

Lamp 980 can be mounted on three screws hidden beneath a chrome ring with or without the back casing. Recessed into a hole having a diameter of 113mm, it protrudes beyond the profile of the vehicle only 18mm.

Installation and care

To preserve the quality of your lights, do not utilise a pressure washer on a high setting.

The use of harsh cleaning chemicals can detrimentally effect the appearance and life of the product. Use warm soapy water and a wash brush or clean sponge to thoroughly clean front and back and rising to remove all soap.

With today’s high-quality lighting offering excellent dust and water sealing, lamp failures are rare. One common cause is water tracking through unsealed electrical connections, causing the copper core to blacken. Using waterproof plugs and sockets (superseals or Deutsch connectors) and adhesive heat-shrink sleeving and terminals can prevent this issue.
